September Book Club

We are so thrilled to facilitate this communal space to share experiences and discuss the variety of topics weighing on our minds these days. The book club was born out of the Womens March #reflectandresist action. We want to build community through reflection and courageous conversations, so that we can all be empowered by, and learn from, the work of influential activists, while being mindful not the perpetuate the mistakes of the past. Join us on the journey to wokeness!

Thanks to our friend Courtney Napier for facilitating our last meeting.  We appreciate you for continuing to present us with challenging reads and brave conversations.

For our September meeting, we will be discussing "Nothing Personal" by James Baldwin. Link to the article: http://scholarworks.umass.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1042&context=cibs

Thanks to Erica for hosting! BYOB. Snacks provided. Anyone and everyone are welcome to join. Please bring a friend and an open mind!
