Womens Advocacy Day

Women's Advocacy Day will take place on March 14th at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences Auditorium (across from the NCGA) and at the North Carolina General Assembly. Check in will begin at 8:00am, and the event will begin at 9am.

Whether you are an expert advocate or a novice, we encourage you to attend and speak with legislators about the issues that matter to you. We are looking forward to sharing an interactive and advocacy-full day.

Event hosted and coordinated by NC WOMEN UNITED(NCWU) is a coalition of progressive organizations and individuals working to achieve the full political, social, and economic equality of all women across North Carolina. NCWU works to build women’s power through grassroots activism, community organizing, legislative advocacy, and engagement in the political process
