Citizen Lobby Day to End Gerrymandering

Join us March 1 at the NC Legislature for the Citizens Lobby Day to End Gerrymandering!

Two Advocacy Options:

1) RALLY TO END GERRYMANDERING - Meet Katie & AFAR at the Edenton Street Church parking lot at 1pm (after preschool gets out!) and we'll walk over to Bicentennial Mall for the rally. We will have balloons and snacks for kids, plus sign making materials for those interested. Anyone is welcome, even if it's just popping over on your lunch break! Show Up! Dive In! 

2) CITIZEN LOBBY DAY TO END GERRYMANDERING - Come and speak directly to your state representatives. Tell them why they should vote for independent redistricting. Complete the signup form at

A broad coalition of citizens from across the state will unite on Wednesday, March 1 at the NC Legislature (16 W. Jones Street in Raleigh).  The Citizens Lobby Day is being organized by the nonpartisan NC Coalition for Lobbying & Government Reform.

Check-in will start at 9:00 a.m. at the 1300 courtyard inside the NC Legislative Building.  (It’s okay if you can’t make it by 9:00 – our staff will be there to greet you throughout the morning.)
