Join us for an afternoon of brainstorming, conversation, and community building. We want to get to know you, and let you know about us. AFARaleigh plans to work hard to make political participation accessible for busy families. Our goals are to Educate, Active, Elect. 2017 is already a busy year of resistance, protest and fighting back against policies that are bad for NC families. Let's work together to elect more progressive women to local offices to help turn the tide.
Bring your ideas, passion, kids and grandma! Wine & babysitters provided (donations accepted to cover cost).
Next Up Huddles are part of the 10 Actions for the First 100 Days campaign, which launched at the Women’s March, and will mobilize millions to win back the country and world we want.
We’ll visualize what a more democratic, just, safer and freer world could look like four years from now -- and we’ll work backwards to figure out what we need to do, starting today, to get there. Huddles are meant to be positive, inclusive, action-oriented and productive.
